Its been long time I haven't published anything about science. So here is sensational and pleasant article.
Energy has been a key issue in this 2008 election here. Today entire world is largely depended on energy generated from fission technology (Nuclear reactors) using Uranium-235 & Plutonium-239 as raw material. fission reaction performed on 6 gm uranium can release tremendous amount of energy. If that is so then why hundreds of scientists and numbers of countries are making efforts to discover another source of energy? Its because of the drawbacks of fission technology and advantages of Fusion technology.
Knowing the fact that amount of energy contained in sample of 1 liter average water is equal to the energy released by 300 litters petrol, scientists are eying on fusion reaction as an unlimited source of energy where oceanic water can be used as an raw material. Russia made first move in this direction and established Tokamak reactor.
First of all what is fission?
Fission is the chain reaction that happens when uranium atom is broken down by the bombardment of neutrons. On bombardment broken uranium nuclei releases three neutrons. Combined mass of the released matters is slightly less (In fact its very very very slight decrease) the total mass of the unbroken nuclei. Decreased mass is converted into energy according to Einstein's E=M(c)(c). Controlled reaction is called nuclear reactor and uncontrolled reaction is called Atom Bomb (Nuclear Bomb).
Drawbacks Of Fission
>> Uranium and Plutonium is extremely rare metal
>> Nuclear reactor can convert only 0.1% of total uranium in energy
>> Rest (99.90%) uranium is the highly radioactive garbage.
>> Half life of uranium is thousands of years. Hence it is very difficult to dispose.
What is Fusion?
Fusion is also chain reaction but it fuse two atoms of Hydrogen (Exactly like in Sun). When two Hydrogen (Comprised of two isotopes Deuterium and Tritium) combines it forms one atom of Helium. Mass of helium atom is slightly less than the mass of two Hydrogen atoms. Again, decreased mass is converted into energy according to formula of E=M(c)(c).
There are absolutely no drawbacks for Fusion. Benefits? water is being used as raw material. No remains of radio active garbage. Sounds very noble idea, isn't it? Yes it is. But there are just two major hurdles in way. First the temperature needed is 100, 000, 000 celius and second Maintain the temperature until the reaction want to be going on.
What Is Tokamak? Inner View Of Magnetic Tube (Jet Tokamak)
Since all the reactor copies the simple technique (Storing Plasma of Hydrogen in magnetic tube) used by Russia all the reactors are known as Tokamak.
Russia (Formerly Soviet Union) formed first fusion reactor called toroidal'naya kamera s magnitnymi katushkami (Tokamak). America established its own Tokamak in Princeton, Briton accompanied with European Union formed Tokamak called Joint European Torus (Jet). Research & development is so herculean and expensive that Russia, America, China, South Korea, Japan and other 15 European countries have agreed to close their individual effort and carry out research together. India is the only country which have built Tokamak on their own in Gandhi Nagar (Gujarat) called 'Aditya'.
Breakthrough...
On 9th November 1991, at Jet, scientists managed to raised temperature at 220, 000, 000 Celsius and gained 2 MeV.

You may or may not know that this blog was 'Webreview-milan'. I changed it to FragmentedBlog as the earlier one was bit weird. Let me tell you it was very tough decision. Old url was having many backlinks and traffic from USA, Australia and UK respectively. Blog was on top for many keywords. For many country-version of search engines it was on #1 position.
But the most disastrous consequence is the penalty I am facing. I wouldn't have done that if I knew this was about to happen. Most search engines are considering this new blog as duplicate content. Blog was no where when searched for 'FragmentedBlog' in Google. Further, there has been absolutely no traffic from any search engines.
As usual I turned my eyes towards Google. I ruffled through Google Webmaster Tool and found a way out (as usual. May be Google knows what problem a webmaster could face). I placed a review request to Google explaining what has happened. At first I thought that feature to be a placebo to show people that Google is there to help webmasters.
I did not expect any outcome of that action assuming Google is second largest web-portal and there could be thousands of requests in queue. But, the very next the blog got visit from http://209.85.175.104/search, which I guess is specially designed for different purpose. I guessed so because in analytics account it was listed as an IP address not as a visit from Google. Also, it has different PR than other google search engine URL. Further more this blog has started getting traffic from Google since then.
If I am right then I must admit that Google is really committed to produce result of good quality. If you ever find your self in trouble related to indexing and ranking do place reconsideration request. Google webmaster world has many features that cold be very useful for your website when you get into trouble e.g. Fast index.

There are plethora of online file hosting services available online. You might have even tried some of them. I too have tried many file hosting services. Some professional file hosting services are Rapidshare and MegaUpload. The cons of such services are they have been developed for bulk hosting purpose, hence, they are as eager to delete files to free space as they are willing to get more and more users. Hosted files are time bound. Hosted file will be deleted unless there is download for specific span of time. Further, Your hosted file will be removed if a complaint made for that file. Good solution is using your Google account for storing and sharing files.
Google provides almost 7GB space. Now you can use this huge space to host your personal files, Photos and media files.
It is the firfox addon that will help you to host files in your go ogle account. Files will be saved in draft form. To use it, have Firefox installed first and then get addon here.
Once installed restart FireFox and go to Tools >> Gspace. You will see a web interface as shown in image right hand side.
Left span shows the documents on your PC and Right span shows files stored in you Google account.
This addon will work like a FTP program. It will transfer your file to your google gmail account.
How to use?
- Click on 'Manage Account' enter your account id and password
- Click 'Login' button located right besides account drop down menu
- Once logged in, use arrows in center to upload and download files

More Information
- Maximum size of file to upload is 20MB (You can split and upload large files)

Finally, a good news, after long time, for bloggers from Yahoo! corporation. Yahoo Buzz is open for everyone. I must admit it is A perfect Move To Catch Diggle(Digg+Google)!
Before I go a few-lines intro for what yahoo buzz is. Yahoo Buzz is digg like service that features content (post or article) on its home page according to the rating given by other like minded users. It was launched in moth of feb 2008. Earlier it was 'Membership by Invitation Only' i.e for big organization and news portals. Now, its open for everyone.
Yahoo Buzz has already begun to catch Digg. 'Open-for-everyone' move will definitely be a game changing. Comparison between Yahoo Buzz and Digg is obvious because of the similarities in operating mode. But, it might sound bit unusual to consider yahoo buzz as a way to battle with Google. Refer second last para of this post. Let me reiterate....

So yahoo buzz is now a way to love small and big bloggers. I see yahoo buzz as a medium to create buzz in blogsphere for Yahoo. Lot of bloggers would start talking about traffic they would likely get from it and eventually capture people's attention. Heather Hopkins predicted quite early a good share for yahoo buzz as a social news site.

Did you notice the dynamic menu on left hand side? It keeps sliding up and down according to scroll. It is called web 2.0 menu. You must have noticed that sometimes your visitors generally don't visit the links that you want them to visit. You would probably have changed the location of the important widget so that it get click. But, as usual very few links are getting clicked on. Reason is simple, human beings are reluctant to do what they are asked to do;-) . I recollect a sentence of one of the lesson I had learned in seventh or eighth grade. Lesson was about advertising and phrase was 'Bombardment of Advertisement must not be sporadic, it should be continuous'. To put in nutshell, your ad should strike people's eyes continuously and everywhere.
In bloggers' case, links are most likely to be visited if it move incessantly wherever the eyes of your visitors rolls. This hack is useful in that sense. Hack is very simple. Follow the below steps.
