Job Description The Professional Services group within GoldenGate is responsible for ensuring customers are successful in deploying the GoldenGate Transaction Management Solution. Our Consultants work with our customers and Integration Partners on short-term assignments to provide GoldenGate expertise, as well as longer-term efforts that brings quality and efficiency to the projects and ensures they are delivered in accordance with the customer's expectations. Responsibilities * Provide high quality consulting services on-site for customers and partners in roles that combine high-level consultative skills and hands-on technical delivery. Engagements may be short-term, focused on installation/configuration/troubleshooting or may involve long-term development lead or staff augmentation roles. * Work with customers (management and technical personnel) on technical requirements and on architecture and design of GoldenGate-related solutions. * Guide, lead and participate in activities during all phases of technical projects, including Discovery, Architecture, Design, Build, Test and Deploy, as well as Project Management. Provide guidance as to optimal ("best practices") methods. * Assist in identifying additional sales opportunities at the customer/prospect site * Work with client and account manager to identify future services opportunities Required Skills * Minimum 5+ years software solution development/deployment experience required, preferably in data integration projects * Minimum 2 years experience consulting or in consulting-type roles * Provide the necessary skills to identify and solve technical problems, define and design database system architectures and analyze data sources * Demonstrated experience with GoldenGate's solutions are a plus * Experience in either the Open Systems (Unix, Linux, Windows, etc.) or Mainframe (z/OS) architecture(s) * Experience with one of the following database systems: Oracle, DB2/UDB, Sybase, SQL Server, Teradata. Database programming and schema design is important, DBA-level experience (configuration, troubleshooting, etc.) is preferable. * Proficient skills in SQL programming * Experience with one of the following applications would be a plus: SAP, Siebel, Oracle Application Suite, GE CareCast. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Willingness to travel 75%, both domestic and internationally Desired Skills * Experience conducting training, excellent presentation skills * ETL experience with one of the following products (Informatica, Ab Initio, Ascential) * Bilingual Skill a plus (preferably Spanish) * Good handle on current trends in Data Management technologies * Industry Certifications in related solutions and technologies a plusSoftware Programmer

The primary function includes but is not limited to: planning, analysis and execution of all testing activities in various stages of development cycles across the group. The STE will leverage their testing expertise to ensure that proper test methodologies are followed. Working with a team of test engineer and test technicians, the position will ensure test cases planning, automation, execution, bug triage, and risk management is performed on individual projects. Job Qualifications - BS CS or BS EE required - 3-5 years of software testing and/or test automation experience. - Strong scripting language skills a plus. - Strong oral and written communication skills required to write ad report test plans, procedures and results. - Highly proficient in Microsoft Windows OS, UNIX and Linux platforms. - Understanding of SDLC and testing role throughout that cycle is needed. - Experience in requirement, feature, regression, performance, persistence (load), system, black box and white box testing required. - Knowledge of XML and schemas is highly desirable. - Database experience desired, including stored procedures and triggers. - Knowledge of industrial protocol like Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU is highly desired. - Understanding of testing methodologies and tools, plus a proven track record of driving product quality. - Must be highly motivated, self-driven, creative, independent, and capable of working regularly with development and product management team members with minimal supervision.
