  • In Memory of Stickers

    Sun, 04 May 2008 00:00:00 +0100
You’ve seen them on the back window of car, sitting in traffic in front of you it reads “In Memory of John Smith” This is a powerful and economical statement of one’s grief. I think it’s great to share your grief and let the world know, someone you know has passed. I know when I see a sticker it makes me take a minute and realize my life is short. Stickers can be bought in bulk and handed out the funeral to the entire family or perhaps a group or organization. [...]

Each year, 22, 500 cemeteries across the United States bury approximately:
~  embalming fluid: 827, 060 gallons, which includes formaldehyde
    ~  caskets: 90, 272 [...]

    Tue, 25 Mar 2008 00:00:00 +0100

If you find yourself in the presence of a griever. Your energy is important. Do offer assistance and follow through with it. If you do not know how to handle the grief of another, be sure to explain to the other person that you do not know what to say or do. If you are really unsure what to do, I suggest offer [...]
