Wed, 10 May 2006 19:20:36 +0200It is Weds today and I am soo tired! Can't seem to catch up on the hours of sleep we missed this weekend. Well, it was one HELL of a weekend! Played Thursday nite at La CauseTek as usall - good minimal crowd. Then on Friday Played in Martigny..the first 3 hours were cool but then the monitors were so loud that i could not hear anything so I turned them down and then couldn't get one mix in as the high hats from the dance floor intervened! Mixed worse than I ever have in years! Then Saturday I played at the HB Gallery from 17h - 10 (the other dj didn't show up so I was late for my next date in Geneva) :uneasy: Then I ran off to play at L'Aglon...it was great! Then played at the refuge from 5am to 6.30 am and then surprise of all surprises Micheal Mayer was playing at L'atellier 44 for a private after....They called and said to come and play after him...tired but ecstatic, I ran off to Lausanne where I played from 9 am to 11.30. The scientific principle of this \"nugget\" has not yet been proven but it might mean a breakthrough discovery in neurological research. Ancient Incas believed that Alpacas can read minds, they were on a right track. PLANTS THAT UNDERSTAND HUMANS Professor Chang Tau of Sumatran University has found a way to \"speak\" to a new species of giant carnivore plants he and his research group recently found from a small island of Mentawai. It is unknown how professor Chang Tau came up with a method to sense the plats reactions. He claims that this newfound spieces already communicate 1) with each other. The plants form groups for hunting and have showed to have taste for fortune cookies. Professor Chang Tau climbs inside the carnivore plant to sense the plant's mind, claiming that they are \"totally harmless to humans\". While waiting for the laboratory results, researchers haven't found any organ that can function as green conciousness. A MAN PLAYING A PIPE HYPNOTIZED KIDS In Grunt, Holland a man dressed as a \"pied piper\", a character known from fairytales got local kindergarden kids into a hypnosis-like condition. Children were unable to stop following this man, as he walked around the streets of Grunt. Several parents were trying to get their kids to come home but it started a riot. 300 kids ran around the streets dancing and playing. Later on police came to calm the situation down.
